Ossipee Valley Fair

Since 1977 every July the small town of Hiram Maine comes alive in preparation for The Ossipee Valley Fair. The Ossipee Valley Fair is by no means the largest agricultural fair in the state but it is undoubtedly the friendliest. Come join us for four days of amusement rides, live stock shows, 4X4 drag races and of course plenty of fried food.

Moxie Festival

2016 Moxie Festival 3-day event 7/8/16-7/10/16. The center of town, Lisbon Falls. All things Moxie, all weekend long. Moxie floats, Moxie ice cream, Moxie baking contest, Moxie chugging contest. 2016 Shipyard Old Port Half Marathon

The Bicycle Coalition of Maine invites you to cruise along winding country lanes as you take in the breathtaking, rocky coast and see lighthouses, lupines and lobster boats from the comfort of two pedal-powered wheels. Open Farm Day

Open Farm Day is an annual family event that allows the general public to learn about the business of agriculture.Farms throughout the State of Maine open their gates and many farms will have demonstrations, displays, farm-raised products for sale and animals and crops to experience. Activities may include barn and field tours, milking, hay rides, petting zoos, nature trails, beautiful scenery, samples for tasting and refreshments.

Bangor State Park

Bangor State Fair is an agricultural and recreational gathering of the population of the Greater Bangor Area and the entire state of Maine that lasts for 10 days at Bass Park – the land encompassing Cross Insurance Center. Cider Hill’s Locavore Music Fest

The 4th annual Locavore Music Festival will take place once again at Cider Hill Farm, on July 30th with music starting at 2pm. Many of the bands taking the stage this year have new albums released in early 2016.
As mentioned, Muddy Ruckus will headline Locavore Music Festival this coming July. Winner of the 2016 New England Music Awards – Best in State of Maine, Muddy Ruckus’ latest album “Pretty Bones” will be released in June just before the Festival. https://locavorefestival.com/
