Garside’s Ice Cream

The oldest homemade ice cream stand in Maine! Garside’s uses premium ingredients in their 40 different hard served ice cream. The best in my opinion being their black raspberry.

Big Licks

A newer ice cream shop in the heart of downtown Old Orchard Beach. This place will be around for awhile with it’s location, although, the ice cream was just average.

Martel’s Ice Cream

Martel’s Ice Cream is celebrating over 25 years in business! They are located in a prime location across from Funtown and heavily trafficked Route 1. The ice cream is very good and staff are always friendly.

Gonneville Farms

Gonneville’s Ice Cream is located on a cute farm in the country. The area is not heavily traveled, but Gonneville’s always tends to be busy. Ice cream is good, but Gifford’s.

Dairy Joy

The dairy joy is a hot spot for locals and tourists. Why? I’m not sure. The ice cream is overpriced and the staff are not well trained. Our sundae was a syrup mess.

Dairy Queen

I’ve had DQ way too many times over the years! They have the best soft served and best blizzards in town.

Fielder’s Choice

Great facility and location, The ice cream is decent by they serve inconsistent portions. It’s also cash only.

Bayley’s Ice Cream

Pretty good! Bayley’s ice cream is much better than their restaurant. It offers a great select of flavors. I was pleasantly surprised.

The Dairy Corner

This place has won me over with my ONLY 5 STAR RATING. I have only tried a handful of their incredible flavors and have not been disappointed yet. I would highly recommend trying The Dairy Corner if you are in the Scarborough area.

When it comes to Pizza by Alex – don’t judge a book by its cover! These small 10 inch pies are to die for! The menu consists of one thing, “pizza”, which is made daily using their special ingredients and recipes. If you are in the area, stop by Alex’s and ask for the “old oven”!

Pizza is the calling here, but they have a wide array of other foods to make sure everyone is happy. Lovely atmosphere, great beers and wine to choose from, and, of course, amazing pizza!

Papa John’s

Papa John’s is a reliable old friend! Being familiar with their pizza menu and delivery service always makes it a reliable choice in a pinch. The pizza is consistently good and always ask for the garlic sauce!

TJ’s Pizza
366 Elm St, Biddeford, ME

TJ’s Pizza has been family owned and operated since 1982. The pizza is reasonably priced and they offer great deals like their popular pizza buffet. Unfortunately, this 1950’s themed pizza shop may need to get with the times.
